Which Bible Translation into English to use?

Many who partake in the Bible Studies at St. Jude use the The Ignatius Bible which has the RSV-CE (Revised Standard Version - 2nd Catholic Edition), a translation recommended in the Bible Studies at St. Jude. If you are using another bible translation make sure it includes all 46 books of the Old Testament along with the 27 books of the New Testament. There now is a helpful bible for beginners who want to get the running story of the Bible without getting bogged down by difficult books of the Bible - The Great Adventure Bible
A new Study Bible has been issued by Ignatius Press call the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible
